GENTILISSIMI E PUNTUALISSIMI

Was not happy with this driver. As our flight was 3 hours late all the Exchange shops were closed. We looked up online and found 2 that were 24hr and on the way. So we asked him twice to take us to one on the way to the apartment as we didn't have any CZK and he seemed to agree but didn't really speak English. Instead he just drove us directly to the apartment and charged us £30 which worked out around 900 CZK instead of 600 CZK as previously agreed. I tried to give him £25 (after checking the exchange rate on an app) which seemed more reasonable but as he didn't speak any English he just kept grunting & showing us the amount we had to pay on a calculator screen was £30. As it was late and we couldn't communicate with him at all we just paid him and got out. He definitely ripped us off as all the exchange shops we went to over the weekend were paying more than 25 CZK to the £ whereas he only allowed us 20 CZK to the £. Because of this I didn't tip the transfer driver back on Monday morning as I had already overpaid, even though the lady on Monday was polite, on time and drove directly to the airport.
